China Basin holds special meaning in the city's illustrious history. The industrial foundations of this waterfront location provide a material and operational concept for a corporate community cafe. The fluidity of layout and and customer pick-up space is meant to connect with the courtyard adjacent space. The cafe opens to the courtyard for an exterior seating  and outdoor experience
