This San Francisco residence was nearly gutted on the interior and along the rear facade. A complete overhaul, in effort to transform both space, surface and functionality. The owners sought a warm space of collective gathering for families and friends 

 

Additional attention was placed on materials and opportunities to uncover and reuse existing structure and architectural elements within the near century old home. In doing so, we were able to create spaces of comfort, blending old details and textures with minimal modern insertions
